Terms of service
This is the agreement between you and Scalebiz. It is written to be read, not to be survived — if anything here is unclear, ask us before you agree to it.
Version 1.3 · 26 August 20261. Who you are contracting with
Scalebiz is operated by Robert Grabarević, a sole trader registered in Serbia, at Primorska 37, Subotica, registration number 68456479, tax number 115555768. In this document “we” and “us” mean that person, and “you” means the business using the service.
Scalebiz is for businesses. By opening an account you confirm you are acting for a business and are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf. Consumer protection rules that apply to private individuals do not apply here.
2. What the service does
Scalebiz collects published information about grants, public tenders, investors, loan schemes and guarantee programmes across the EU, the United States and the United Kingdom, scores each one against the business profile you enter, and explains why something fits or does not. An assistant answers questions about that material.
What Scalebiz is not
We are not an adviser, an agent or an intermediary. We do not apply on your behalf, do not submit anything, do not negotiate with funders, and have no influence over any decision they make. We give you orientation so you can decide where to spend your own effort.
3. What we promise, and what we do not
We work hard on accuracy, and we are specific about where it ends.
What we do promise
- Programme data comes from official sources — agency portals, procurement platforms, published fund information — and never from a third-party summary.
- Every statement the assistant makes about a programme is tied to the source it came from.
- When a figure is not published, we say so rather than estimating it.
- We tell you when an opportunity was last checked.
What we do not promise
- That a match means you will be awarded anything. Eligibility is not selection.
- That our data is complete. Sources change wording, move pages and publish late.
- That a deadline shown here is the deadline that counts. Always confirm dates and conditions in the official document before you act on them.
- That the score reflects a funder’s own assessment. It reflects the published criteria as we read them.
- That the assistant is never wrong. It is a language model working over retrieved documents, and it can misread them.
Nothing on Scalebiz is legal, tax, financial or investment advice. Decisions about applying, borrowing or raising equity are yours, and worth discussing with a qualified adviser.
4. Your account
- One account is for one business. Sharing sign-in details with people outside that business is not permitted.
- You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens under your account.
- Tell us promptly at hello@scalebiz.app if you think someone else has access.
- You must be at least 18.
The quality of what you get out depends on what you put in. An incomplete profile produces provisional scores, and we will tell you which field is holding you back.
5. Trial and subscription
Scalebiz does not offer a free plan. Every account starts with a 14-day trial. No payment card is required to start the trial, nothing is charged when it ends, and the trial simply stops. Writing applications is not part of the trial.
Inside — the subscription
After the trial, Scalebiz is one subscription, called Inside: €39 per month or €390 per year. It includes:
- One business profile.
- Ten assistant messages a day.
- Up to 100 matched opportunities on your dashboard.
- Up to ten opportunities in each email digest.
- Up to 1,000 saved opportunities.
- Up to 500 items in your pipeline.
- Side-by-side comparison of opportunities.
- A daily email digest, if you choose to receive email at all.
- Deadline reminders 14, 7, 3 and 1 day before a closing date.
Early access pricing
Subscriptions started on or before 31 December 2026 pay €39 a month, and that price stays fixed for as long as the subscription runs without interruption. Subscriptions started after that date pay €59 a month.
Writing assistance
Help with writing an application is in development and is not sold today. It is not part of Inside, it carries no price, and we do not take payment or card details for it. When it is ready, these terms will say what it costs and what it includes before anyone can buy it.
What Scalebiz is not responsible for
Scalebiz is not responsible for you obtaining funding. We help you find calls and, in future, help you write the application. We do not assess your chances and we do not promise any outcome.
Limits
Reaching a limit never deletes anything. Matches outside your top 150 are kept for another 7 days and only then removed. Anything you have saved, added to your pipeline, or been emailed about is never removed.
If we change a limit to your disadvantage, we will tell you at least 30 days beforehand and you may cancel without penalty.
6. Paying
Payments are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as merchant of record and is the seller for your purchase. Paddle issues your invoice, calculates and adds any VAT or sales tax due in your country at checkout, and processes refunds. Paddle’s own buyer terms apply alongside these terms.
Prices are shown excluding VAT. A subscription renews automatically — monthly plans each month, annual plans each year — until you cancel.
The price you sign up at stays fixed for as long as your subscription runs without interruption. A later price change reaches you only if you cancel and subscribe again.
Cancellation and refunds are set out in the Cancellation & refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. What you may not do
- Resell, sublicense or redistribute our matching, scoring or explanations as your own product.
- Scrape, bulk-export or systematically copy the database.
- Reverse engineer the scoring, or use the service to build a competing dataset.
- Overload the service, probe it for weaknesses, or try to reach another account’s data.
- Use it for anything unlawful, or to submit information you know to be false.
You may of course use everything you find here for your own applications, share it inside your business, and quote it to your advisers, accountants and lenders.
8. Who owns what
Yours. Your business profile, your notes, your pipeline, your questions. We claim no ownership over any of it and will not use it to build a product for someone else.
Ours. The software, the scoring method, the structured criteria we extract from source documents, and the explanations generated from them.
Nobody’s. The underlying programme documents are public information published by the agencies themselves. We do not claim rights over them, and neither should anyone else.
9. Availability
We aim to keep Scalebiz running continuously, but we do not commit to an uptime figure and there is no service credit scheme. Maintenance is announced in advance where we can. Data collection runs on a schedule, so a programme published this morning may appear tomorrow.
We depend on services run by others — hosting, the database, the language model. If one of them fails, Scalebiz may be unavailable through no fault of ours.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for a funding opportunity you missed, an application that failed, a decision taken on information found here, or business losses of any kind — lost profit, lost opportunity, lost goodwill.
Where we are liable, our total liability over any twelve-month period is capped at what you paid us during that period. During the trial that figure is zero, which is another reason to verify everything that matters in the official document.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for deliberate wrongdoing, or for anything that cannot be limited by law.
11. Ending the agreement
You may stop at any time. Deleting your account in settings removes everything within 30 days, and you can export your data first with one click.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks the section above, that is used to harm other users, or where payment fails and stays unpaid after we have asked. Except in serious cases we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right.
If we ever shut the service down, we will give at least 60 days’ notice and keep export working throughout.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Anything that materially affects you is announced by email at least 30 days in advance, and continuing to use the service after that date means you accept it. If you do not, cancel before it takes effect.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia, where we are established, and disputes go to the competent court in Subotica.
That choice does not take anything away from you. If you are a business in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the mandatory protections of your own country — data protection above all — continue to apply in full, and nothing in this section prevents you from raising a data protection matter with your own supervisory authority.
Before either of us goes to court, we would rather you wrote to hello@scalebiz.app — most things are a misunderstanding, and most misunderstandings are cheaper to fix than to litigate.
14. The rest
- If a clause turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
- Not enforcing something once does not mean giving it up.
- These terms, together with the privacy policy and the data processing terms, are the whole agreement between us.
- You may not transfer this agreement without our consent. We may transfer it if the business is sold, and will tell you if that happens.
